Amanallah Souassi: Tunisian defender joins FC Syunik from CS Hammam-Lif
Amanallah Souassi, the 23-year-old Tunisia centre-back, has joined Armenian Premier League club FC Syunik from CS Hammam-Lif. The move was completed on 2 August 2026, with the defender switching clubs after two seasons with the Tunisian side.
Souassi arrives at FC Syunik following a campaign in which he made 11 appearances across Ligue 1, the Tunisian Cup and the Ligue I Pro Playout. He recorded one assist in the league and played a total of 734 minutes across those competitions.
The central defender made seven Ligue 1 appearances, contributing one assist, while also featuring three times in the Tunisian Cup and once in the playout competition. His move takes him from Tunisia’s top flight to Armenia’s Premier League.
Souassi joined CS Hammam-Lif from AS Soliman on 21 January 2025. Before that, he had spent part of the 2023-24 season with SC Ben Arous after moving there from AS Soliman on loan in January 2024. He returned to AS Soliman at the end of that loan spell before later making the switch to CS Hammam-Lif.
Born on 16 December 2002, Souassi has spent his career in Tunisian football before making the move abroad. His arrival at FC Syunik represents his first recorded transfer outside Tunisia and gives the Armenian club a defender with experience of domestic league and cup football.
FC Syunik compete in Armenia’s Premier League, while CS Hammam-Lif play in Tunisia’s Ligue 1. The transfer was recorded on the opening day of Souassi’s new club career in Armenia.
Souassi is now an FC Syunik player after completing his move from CS Hammam-Lif.
