AC Milan linked with St-Etienne teenager Tidiane Vibert

Tidiane Vibert, the France-and-Senegal striker at St-Etienne U19, has been linked with a move to AC Milan.

Vibert is 16 and currently plays in France’s National U19 competition, while AC Milan compete in Serie A. The reported interest concerns a move from St-Etienne’s academy to the Italian club.

He has made 16 appearances in National U19 – Group D this season, scoring three goals across 1,004 minutes. Vibert has also featured twice for St-Etienne’s National 2 side, playing 38 minutes.

The forward joined St-Etienne’s under-17 setup from US Torcy’s youth team on 1 July 2024 before moving into the club’s under-19 squad a year later. His senior pathway has so far included limited involvement with the club’s National 2 team alongside his under-19 appearances.

Vibert was born in Champigny-sur-Marne on 14 October 2009 and is eligible to represent both France and Senegal. The link with AC Milan would represent a move from French youth football to one of Italy’s leading Serie A clubs, although the rumour does not indicate that an agreement has been reached.

For now, Vibert remains a St-Etienne U19 player, with his current involvement centred on the club’s National U19 campaign.
