Crawley Town sign Sierra Leone and England winger Osman Kamara on loan

Crawley Town have signed 19-year-old Sierra Leone and England winger Osman Kamara from Blackburn U21 on a season-long loan for the 2026-27 campaign.

Kamara, who plays on the left wing and prefers his right foot, joins the League Two club after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with Blackburn’s Under-21 side. His loan is scheduled to run until 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to Blackburn U21.

The London-born player moved to Blackburn from Arsenal U21 on a free transfer on 2 February 2026. Before that switch, he had progressed through Arsenal’s youth system, moving from the club’s academy side to its Under-18 team and then into the Under-21 set-up.

Kamara’s recorded youth career includes 32 appearances and 14 goals in the Under-18 Premier League, as well as 31 Premier League 2 appearances. He has also featured in the UEFA Youth League, FA Youth Cup, EFL Trophy and Premier League Cup.

His record includes three appearances and one goal in the EFL Trophy, a competition featuring senior professional teams, while he scored twice in two Premier League Cup appearances. Kamara has also played in the Premier League 2 play-offs and the Premier League International Cup Under-21 competition.

The winger stands 1.80m tall and holds both Sierra Leonean and English nationality. His move to Crawley provides the club with a player who has experience across several levels of academy and development football, while Blackburn retain his registration beyond the loan period.

Kamara’s completed move to Crawley Town began on 1 August 2026, with the winger joining from Blackburn U21 on loan until the end of June 2027.
