Ayyoub Bouaddi and Ismaël Saibari among biggest World Cup value winners

Morocco internationals Ayyoub Bouaddi and Ismaël Saibari have seen their market values increase significantly after impressive performances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Atlas Lions were eliminated by France in the quarter-finals of the tournament, but several of their players strengthened their reputations on the global stage, with Bouaddi and Saibari emerging among the biggest individual winners.

According to the latest estimates from Transfermarkt, the two Moroccan midfielders are among the players who recorded some of the largest increases in market value following the competition hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Bouaddi has enjoyed one of the most remarkable rises, with his valuation increasing by €30 million. The jump places the young midfielder third among players with the biggest market value growth after the World Cup.

The increase highlights the rapid development of the Moroccan talent, whose performances have attracted attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Manchester City and Real Madrid are among the teams reported to have been monitoring the midfielder’s progress in recent weeks.

Following his valuation rise, Bouaddi has moved ahead of several established global stars in terms of market value growth.

Players including Erling Haaland, Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappé, Michael Olise, Julián Álvarez, Morgan Rogers, Pau Cubarsí, Bradley Barcola and Gonçalo Ramos all recorded increases of €20 million after the tournament.

Saibari has also benefited from his World Cup displays. The Moroccan international, who recently completed a transfer to Bayern Munich, saw his market value increase by €15 million to reach €55 million.

The rise reflects the impact of his performances with Morocco and the expectations surrounding his move to the German champions. Bayern Munich secured his services after recognising his potential and ability to contribute at the highest level.

Although Morocco’s World Cup journey ended in the last eight, the tournament proved valuable for several members of the squad.

Bouaddi and Saibari’s improved valuations underline how strong performances on the biggest stage can influence a player’s reputation and standing in the transfer market.

With both players entering new stages of their careers, expectations will now be higher as they look to continue their progress at club and international level.
