Fiacre Ntwari: Kaizer Chiefs loan Rwanda goalkeeper to promoted Kruger United for 2026-27 season

Rwanda international goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari will spend the 2026-27 Betway Premiership campaign on loan at newly promoted Kruger United, Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed.

The 26-year-old, who joined Chiefs ahead of the 2024-25 season, moves to the Mpumalanga club on a season-long deal as he seeks regular first-team football after a stop-start spell at Naturena.

Ntwari managed just eight appearances in all competitions for Amakhosi, conceding seven goals as he struggled to dislodge rivals in the battle for the number one jersey.

His temporary switch is designed to give him consistent game time, while bolstering Kruger United’s squad for their first-ever season in South Africa’s top flight.

Chance to revive club and international prospects

Ntwari’s limited minutes at Chiefs had threatened to stall the progress that earned him his move to the Soweto giants and a place in Rwanda’s national team set-up.
