Burnley Football Club has officially announced the loan of Moroccan international Anas El-Zarouri to Hull City during the current winter transfer window.
This move aims to provide the 23-year-old midfielder with more playing time in the upcoming stages of competition.
Burnley confirmed the loan deal via its official Facebook account, indicating that El-Zarouri would be loaned to Hull City until the end of the current football season.
El-Zarouri, who joined Burnley in the summer of 2022 from Belgian side Charleroi, had extensive experience in the Belgian Pro League before venturing into English football through Burnley.
Having scored 11 goals in 39 appearances for Burnley since his arrival, El-Zarouri is under contract with the team until the summer of 2028.
It is worth noting that El-Zarouri participated in the recent FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022 with the Moroccan national team, featuring for only 26 minutes in the third-place play-off against Croatia.
