Eintracht Frankfurt submit bid for Raphael Onyedika
Eintracht Frankfurt have stepped up their pursuit of Raphael Onyedika, submitting an official offer to Club Brugge for the Nigerian midfielder.
The 25-year-old, long linked with the Bundesliga side, is now the subject of concrete negotiations between the two clubs.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that talks are ongoing, with Frankfurt’s first proposal already on the table but no agreement yet in place. The move underlines how highly the Eagles rate Onyedika, who has been on their shortlist as a priority option for the holding midfield role.
Onyedika is coming off a strong season in Belgium. He featured in 42 competitive matches for Brugge, contributing three goals and two assists while anchoring the midfield with his athleticism and defensive work. His market value is currently listed at 23 million euros by Transfermarkt, a figure that reflects both his consistency and potential.
Frankfurt, however, face competition. Romano notes that several other clubs are also tracking the Nigeria international, meaning the German side may need to improve their offer or move quickly if they want to win the race.
