Ivorian right-back Serge Aurier bids farewell to Nottingham Forest, embarking on a new chapter with Galatasaray FC. The accomplished footballer has formalized a six-month contract with the Turkish club, set to conclude in June.

The announcement of Aurier’s transfer was made official through a press release disseminated on Galatasaray’s official website and subsequently shared across their social media platforms:

*”An agreement has been reached with professional footballer Serge Alain Stéphane Aurier and his club Nottingham Forest Football Club Limited regarding the player’s transfer.

As a result, a transfer fee of EUR 100,000 will be paid to the player’s former club. A contract has been signed with the footballer until the end of the 2023/2024 season.”

Currently, Aurier is fully immersed in the African Cup of Nations (CAN) 2023, representing the national team of Côte d’Ivoire.

The team is poised for a quarter-final clash against Mali this Saturday, a testament to Aurier’s commitment amid the transition.

In the football market, the former Paris Saint-Germain player boasts a valuation of 7 million euros. His previous association with Nottingham Forest saw him earn an annual stipend of 3,044,273 euros (equivalent to 1,978,777,450 FCFA).

The move to Galatasaray marks a pivotal juncture in Serge Aurier’s career, and the Turkish football enthusiasts eagerly anticipate witnessing his contributions during the remainder of the 2023/2024 season.
