Italian club Fiorentina are preparing an official bid for RB Leipzig winger Johan Bakayoko as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.

According to transfer expert Nicolo Schira, the Serie A side is planning an approach for the 23-year-old Belgian forward and hopes to initially secure his services on loan before making the move permanent.

Fiorentina plan structured deal for Bakayoko

Reports indicate that Fiorentina’s proposed agreement would include an obligation to buy if specific conditions are achieved, allowing the club to manage the financial impact of the transfer while securing Bakayoko’s long-term future.

The Belgian winger is expected to be offered a contract running until 2031 under a structure that includes an initial one-year agreement followed by an automatic four-year extension.

As part of the potential deal, RB Leipzig would also reportedly retain a percentage of any future transfer fee if Bakayoko is sold by Fiorentina.

Leipzig winger attracts Serie A interest

Bakayoko joined RB Leipzig from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven last summer and has since become a target for Fiorentina as the Italian club searches for more attacking quality.

His pace, creativity and ability to operate in wide positions have made him an attractive option for clubs looking to add more depth and quality in the final third.

New chapter could await Belgium international

Although no official agreement has been reached, Fiorentina’s planned offer signals their intention to make Bakayoko a key part of their squad for the upcoming campaign.

A move to Italy would represent another important step in the career of the Belgian international, who continues to attract attention from clubs across Europe.
