Adem Arous: Galatasaray eye move for Kasimpasa’s Tunisian centre-back
Tunisia defender Adem Arous of Kasimpasa is being strongly linked with a move to Galatasaray in a deal that is rated as highly likely to happen. The Istanbul giants are understood to be exploring a transfer for the 21-year-old centre-back, with the probability of a move currently put at 91%, as they look to strengthen their options in the heart of defence for the coming Super Lig campaign.
Arous, who plays as a right-footed centre-back and stands at 1.88m, has a contract with Kasimpasa until 30 June 2028, meaning any deal would require Galatasaray to negotiate a fee rather than pursue a free transfer. His current market valuation is €4m, a figure that is expected to form a key reference point in any talks between the clubs.
The defender joined Kasimpasa on 3 September 2025 from Stade Tunisien and has since established himself in the Turkish top flight, making 21 Super Lig appearances and contributing one goal and one assist. Before his move to Turkey, he built his reputation in Ligue 1 with 34 appearances and one goal.
Arous is part of Tunisia’s squad picture and was listed for the 2026 World Cup, although he did not feature in any of the possible three matches at the tournament. For now, he remains under a long-term deal at Kasimpasa, who are in a strong contractual position as Galatasaray weigh up their next move.
