Dutch-Moroccan winger Mohamed Rayhi will leave Wydad Athletic Club following the expiration of his contract with the Moroccan giants.

The 31-year-old attacker is set to bring his spell with the Casablanca-based club to an end after completing his time at Wydad, with both parties moving in different directions ahead of the new season.

Rayhi joined Wydad in 2024 after previous spells in European and Middle Eastern football, including time with Dutch sides and clubs in Saudi Arabia.

The winger arrived with expectations of adding creativity and attacking quality to the squad.

During his stay at Wydad, Rayhi formed part of a squad that competed in domestic competitions and featured among the club’s attacking options.

His departure comes as the Moroccan giants continue to reshape their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.

The former Dutch youth international’s next destination remains unclear, with the player now available to explore new opportunities after the conclusion of his contract.

Wydad AC are expected to continue their recruitment plans as they look to strengthen the team and maintain their status as one of Africa’s leading clubs.
