Efe Ambrose has extended his contract with Celtic Glasgow, committing to the Scottish club for an additional two seasons. The Nigerian defender, born on October 18, 1988, in Kaduna, plays primarily as a central defender and occasionally as a full-back for Celtic.
Prior to joining Celtic Glasgow, Ambrose had stints with Bayelsa United, where he became Nigerian champion in 2009, and Kaduna United FC, winning the Nigeria Cup in 2010. With his contract extension, Ambrose is set to continue his tenure with Celtic Glasgow until 2017.
