Francesco Anacoura: Italian-Seychellois Ravenna goalkeeper linked with Renate move

Italian-Seychellois goalkeeper Francesco Joyce Anacoura, currently at Ravenna, has been linked with a switch to fellow Serie C side Renate.

Renate, who compete in Serie C Girone A, are exploring a move for the 31-year-old as they look to strengthen their goalkeeping options ahead of the new campaign.

Anacoura joined Ravenna from Giugliano Calcio 1928 in July 2025 and is rated at 200,000, with his valuation unchanged over the past year after a steady rise during his time in Serie C with USD Sestri Levante 1919.

The Milan-born stopper, who stands at 1.90m and is right-footed, has built a career across Italy and Portugal, with previous spells including Juventus, Parma, Rimini, Casertana, Ancona and Portuguese sides CD Cova da Piedade and CS Maritimos youth and B teams.

His recent seasons in Italys third tier with Sestri Levante and Giugliano have coincided with a return to his highest recorded market value, underlining his status as an experienced option at this level.

No agreement has been reached between Ravenna and Renate, and the rumour remains at an early stage with the goalkeeper still on the books of the Serie C Girone B club.
