Bachirou Yameogo: Burkina Faso defender joins Viagem Usti nad Labem on free transfer
Bachirou Yameogo has joined FK Viagem Usti nad Labem on a free transfer from SCU Torreense Sub-23, completing a move to the Czech club ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. The 21-year-old centre-back moves into the Czech National Football League (ChNL) after his spell in Portugals youth ranks.
Yameogo, a right-footed central defender, was born in Ouagadougou on 19 August 2004 and stands at 1.92m, adding significant height to Usti nad Labems back line. He represents Burkina Faso and has been listed primarily as a centre-back throughout his professional career.
Before his switch to the Czech Republic, Yameogo spent the 2025-26 season with Torreenses Sub-23 side in Portugal, having previously been on the books of Grenoble Foot 38 in France. He moved to Grenoble in August 2022 from Salitas Football School in Burkina Faso, reflecting a pathway that has already taken him through three European countries by the age of 21.
During his time with Grenoble, Yameogos market value was assessed at 50,000 across several updates between late 2022 and the end of 2023. It was later listed at zero in June 2024, prior to his transfer to Torreenses under-23 set-up, underlining a career that has already included fluctuations in valuation as he has changed clubs and competitions.
Yameogos arrival at Viagem Usti nad Labem adds a young, international-profile defender to the Czech second-tier side after his development years in France and Portugal.
