A high-ranking source has denied that the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has received an invitation for the Moroccan national team to participate in the Copa America, scheduled to take place in the United States from June 20 to July 16 of this year.
In an official statement to “Hesport,” the source revealed that the football federation has not received any invitation to participate in the upcoming Copa America, dismissing the circulating rumors as inaccurate.
Qatar’s national team previously participated in the 2019 Copa America, having received an invitation from the South American Football Confederation.
The upcoming Copa America, set to kick off in June, will feature the participation of 16 teams from South America, North America, and the CONCACAF region, with matches taking place across 14 stadiums in the United States.
