Qarabağ eye move for Mozambique defender Bruno Langa from UD Almería

Mozambique left-back Bruno Langa, currently on the books of Portuguese side Estrela Amadora but also registered with Spanish club UD Almería, is being linked with a summer move to Azerbaijani champions Qarabağ.

The 28-year-old defender, born in Maputo on 31 October 1997 and valued at €1.00m on Transfermarkt, is the subject of speculation over a switch from LaLiga2 side Almería to the Premyer Liqa. The reported probability of the deal remains unclear, listed only as “?” in early market chatter, underlining that talks are still at a speculative stage rather than an advanced negotiation.

Langa, a left-footed full-back standing at 1.78m, is noted for his defensive discipline and overlapping runs from left-back. He wears the number 24 shirt at Estrela Amadora, where he is also listed as a defender for the club in official squad data, although no formal contract expiry date is recorded, maintaining the possibility that he could be available on favourable terms or move closer to free-agent status if any existing agreement is short or winding down.

With a market value of €1.00m, Qarabağ would view the deal as a relatively low-risk addition to bolster their options on the left flank, particularly with European qualification rounds on the horizon. Langa’s experience across different leagues, including Spain’s LaLiga2 with Almería and Portugal with Estrela Amadora, adds to his appeal as a mature option at 28.

As interest in his situation develops and the question mark over the likelihood of a move begins to clear, a transfer to Qarabağ could offer Langa a new stage in the Premyer Liqa and potentially reshape the next phase of his career in continental competition.
