Morocco international Hajar Saïd signs for Paris FC until 2029
Moroccan international Hajar Saïd has returned to French football after completing a transfer to Paris FC, with the Arkema Première Ligue club confirming her arrival on a contract running until 2029.
The 21-year-old defender joins Paris FC from Moroccan side AS FAR, where she enjoyed a successful spell that included two league titles and victory in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
Paris FC announced the signing on Monday, adding another promising international player to their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Saïd has built a growing reputation in recent years through her performances at both club and international level. During her time with AS FAR Rabat, she established herself as an important figure in a team that enjoyed sustained domestic and continental success.
Her move also marks a return to France. In 2023, the Moroccan defender spent a season with Girondins de Bordeaux in the French top flight before returning to Morocco, where she continued her development and added further honours to her career.
Paris FC believe her arrival will provide valuable options for head coach Sandrine Soubeyrand.
In a statement published following the announcement, the club highlighted the versatility that Saïd brings to the squad.
“Primarily a central defender, Hajar Saïd is also capable of playing as a defensive midfielder. This versatility will be a real asset to Sandrine Soubeyrand’s team,” the Parisian club stated in its press release announcing her arrival on the club’s official website.
The ability to operate in multiple positions has become one of the defining features of Saïd’s game, allowing her to contribute both in defence and in midfield when required.
Her development has also been recognised at international level. Saïd earned a place in Morocco’s senior national team setup in October 2025, further underlining her status as one of the country’s emerging talents.
For Paris FC, the signing represents an investment in both the present and the future. At just 21 years old, Saïd arrives with significant experience despite her age, having already competed in major domestic competitions and on the continental stage.
The move opens a new chapter in her career as she returns to one of Europe’s leading women’s leagues with the ambition of continuing her progress.
After achieving success in Morocco and gaining previous experience in France, Saïd will now look to establish herself at Paris FC and make an impact in the Arkema Première Ligue over the coming seasons.
