Frankfurt pushes hard for Bayern Munich midfielder Noel Aseko
Eintracht Frankfurt has intensified its pursuit of Bayern Munich 20-year-old defensive midfielder Noel Aseko, moving from interest to concrete negotiations.
According to Sky reports, the SGE is now working specifically to sign the talented player, who spent the past 18 months on loan at Hannover 96. Bild also confirms advanced talks, with the Hessen club reportedly offering Aseko a contract through 2030 plus an option for an additional season.
The prospect of guaranteed regular playing time is Frankfurt’s strongest selling point. Aseko remains a wish transfer for sporting director Markus Krosche, according to Sky, and the promise of first-team action at Frankfurt would be far more certain than at Bayern. Bild adds that head coach Adi Hutter has already been convinced by the youngster’s qualities.
However, a verbal agreement has not yet been reached. Aseko is weighing multiple options and AS Roma is also among the interested clubs. At Bayern, the midfielder’s future remains unclear, he could stay with a squad spot for next season, but Sky confirms a transfer is not out of the question.
Frankfurt would need to pay seriously, with Bayern reportedly demanding a two-million euro fee if they sell. Frankfurt plans at least two midfield reinforcements if Aseko joins.
