The ongoing maintenance and final touches at Tripoli Stadium are progressing to ensure its readiness in its new form by February 17th.
The stadium is poised to host international matches for the national team and clubs, according to statements by the executing company and the technical supervisor from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Libyan official Mohamed Qrimida.
This comes as a prelude to lifting the ban imposed on the stadium a decade ago.
Maintenance work at the stadium has reached its final stages, including the completion of hybrid turf installation, stadium clock installation, and the initiation of track maintenance.
Additionally, seating, the VAR room, dressing rooms, the VIP platform, water facilities, lighting, and the installation of security surveillance cameras are in progress.
