The Competition Committee of the Egyptian Football Association has officially revealed the draw results for the second stage, known as the “Promotion Group,” in the 2023-2024 season of the Egyptian Premier League.
The draw took place earlier today, Wednesday.
Ten teams are participating in the Promotion Group, vying for promotion to the Premier League. These teams secured the top ten positions in the initial stage of the Professional League.
The teams include Petrojet with 45 points, Wadi Degla with 38 points, Haras El-Hodoud with 36 points, Ghazl El-Mahalla with 35 points, Lavyana with 33 points, Tanta with 30 points, Al-Sekka Al-Hadid with 29 points, Brooqsi with 29 points, Rayyan with 28 points, and Al-Qanah with 28 points.
The league will consist of a single-round robin format among the ten teams to determine the clubs that will ascend to the Egyptian Premier League for the 2024-2025 season.
The fixtures for the first round of the second stage are as follows:
– Brooqsi vs. Wadi Degla
– Ghazl El-Mahalla vs. Tanta
– Petrojet vs. Haras El-Hodoud
– Rayyan vs. Al-Sekka Al-Hadid
– Al-Qanah vs. Lavyana
