Al-Masry Port Said Club has officially announced the successful completion of a pivotal transfer, signing midfielder Hussein Faisal from Smouha Sporting Club.
The move is geared towards fortifying the team’s roster for the upcoming seasons.
In an official statement posted on Facebook, Al-Masry conveyed, “The Board of Directors of Al-Masry Club, led by Mr. Kamel Abu Ali, has concluded the contractual procedures with Hussein Faisal, the midfielder from Smouha, on a deal that spans three and a half seasons.
This follows Al-Masry obtaining the player’s clearance and fulfilling the financial terms for his transfer.”
Hussein Faisal, a versatile 24-year-old player capable of playing both defensive and offensive midfield roles, brings a wealth of experience to Al-Masry.
Notably, he previously represented the national team under the guidance of Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz, participating in the Arab Championship held in Qatar two years ago.
The acquisition of Faisal underscores Al-Masry’s commitment to strengthening its squad, as the club aims to elevate its competitive standing in both domestic and international competitions.
