While teams qualified for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) are already shaping up their preparations for the competition, Tunisia is awaiting confirmation from the United Arab Emirates for its training program.
An agreement was previously reached between Tunisian Minister of Youth and Sports Tarek Dhiab and Emirati sports officials during a friendly match between Tunisia’s Eagles of Carthage and Egypt’s Pharaohs in October. Tunisian authorities are now awaiting a response from their Emirati counterparts.
According to coach Samir Trabelsi’s program, the training camp is scheduled for the end of December, including a friendly match with Morocco. Additionally, Tunisia has a friendly scheduled against Switzerland on November 14 as part of FIFA Day.
