PSG push on with Ayyoub Bouaddi pursuit despite Lille extension

Paris Saint-Germain are not backing away from their interest in Ayyoub Bouaddi and are quietly preparing the next steps in their pursuit of the Lille midfielder.

According to journalist Abdellah Boulma, talks between PSG and Lille are expected to be arranged for the end of May as the French champions look to move early in the market.

Bouaddi has only just signed a new contract running until 2029, which technically puts Lille in a strong position and means they are under no pressure to sell. Even so, PSG still see the teenager as a key long-term target and have reportedly stepped up their efforts in recent weeks, presenting a clear sporting project to convince him to stay in Ligue 1 rather than consider options abroad.

Lille president Olivier Létang is not expected to make negotiations easy and is likely to demand a premium fee if he even agrees to open the door.

With Bouaddi’s future now tightly secured on paper, PSG may have to be patient, pay big money, or both to get a deal over the line. For now, their message is clear: they are not giving up on one of France’s most exciting young midfield talents.
