Mohammad Ahmadzadeh’s hat-trick, along with goals from Amir Akbari and Farid Boulokbashi, secured the win for Iran. Senegal’s goals were scored by Ngalla Sylla (twice) and Payman Hosseini. In the other Group C match, Brazil secured their second victory by defeating Ukraine 4-2. With this result, Brazil leads the group, while Senegal and Iran share the second spot.
