Al Ahly target signing 19-year-old midfielder Isaac Cissé from Golden Arrows

Egyptian heavyweights Al Ahly SC have identified 19-year-old Ivorian midfielder Isaac Cissé as a potential transfer target as the club continues its squad restructuring ahead of the new season.

Cissé, who is currently on the books of South African side Lamontville Golden Arrows, has emerged as one of the young prospects attracting attention in the region following a series of impressive performances that have highlighted his technical ability and composure in midfield.

According to emerging reports, Al Ahly’s recruitment team is closely monitoring the teenager as part of a broader strategy to inject youthful energy into the squad while maintaining their dominance both domestically and on the continental stage.

The Cairo-based club is actively exploring fresh additions in the transfer market, with midfield reinforcement identified as a key priority.

The interest in Cissé reflects a long-term planning approach, with the club aiming to balance experienced figures with emerging talent capable of developing into future first-team regulars.

While no formal offer has yet been confirmed, discussions are understood to be at an early stage as Al Ahly assess their options ahead of what is expected to be a busy transfer window.

Cissé’s potential move, should it materialise, would mark a significant step in his young career and further underline Al Ahly’s continued strategy of scouting promising talent from across the African continent.
