Eberechi Eze backs Arsenal mindset ahead of Sporting showdown
Eberechi Eze is convinced Arsenal have the leadership and mentality to handle a decisive moment in their season as they prepare for the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Sporting at the Emirates.
The forward believes the squad is packed with strong voices and personalities on and off the pitch, which keeps the group united and focused when pressure rises.
“I believe this team is full of leaders, and whether you’re part of the leadership group or not, you can make yourself heard, speak up, and say what you think.” For Eze, everyone understands exactly where Arsenal stand and the scale of the opportunity in front of them in Europe.
“We all know the position we’re in, the opportunity we have, and what’s at stake.” He adds that belief inside the dressing room is high: “A lot of trust, a lot of faith in the group, and it’s special to be close to them.”
At the same time, Eze stresses that mindset alone is not enough. “But the important thing is to seize the opportunity we have and make it happen.” he said, underlining that Arsenal must now turn that confidence into a complete performance on the night to finish the job against Sporting.
