MAS Fes offer financial incentive to players

Maghreb de Fès have introduced a significant financial incentive to motivate their players ahead of a high-stakes encounter against Wydad Athletic Club in the postponed Round 12 fixture of the Botola Pro.

The club’s management has reportedly promised each player a bonus of 20,000 dirhams if they secure victory and claim all three points in what is shaping up to be a decisive fixture in the title race.

The move reflects both the difficulty and importance of the match, as MAS Fes look to maintain their strong form from the first half of the season.

The team currently sits fourth in the league standings, just two points behind joint leaders Wydad and AS FAR, keeping them firmly in contention for the title.

Meanwhile, discussions are ongoing regarding a potential change to the match schedule.

Both clubs have reportedly submitted a joint request to move the kickoff time from 8 pm to 6 pm, with the National Professional Football League expected to make a final decision.

In preparation for the clash, Wydad have stepped up their approach under head coach Patrice Carteron.

The club has organised a closed training camp in Bouznika, aimed at boosting team morale and sharpening focus after a dip in form, having collected just one point from their last two matches against Fath Rabat and Difaa El Jadida.
