Al-Ahly Sporting Club has officially terminated its contract with Salah Mohsen, a prominent player in the team’s first football squad.
The announcement, made through an official statement, reveals that the decision was reached amicably, aligning with the player’s request submitted ten days ago.
The headline-making decision was unveiled in an official press release titled “Al-Ahly Amicably Terminates Contract with Salah Mohsen.”
In this pivotal moment, Al-Ahly cited the club’s strategic vision as the guiding factor behind the agreement.
The club expressed consent to Salah Mohsen’s desire to part ways, as he fulfilled the financial obligations outlined during negotiations with Amir Tawfik, the Director of Contracts and Acting CEO of Al-Ahly Football Company.
The statement read, “In light of the team’s artistic vision, we have approved Salah Mohsen’s wish, who has promptly settled the required financial sum, in accordance with the negotiations held with Amir Tawfik, the Contracts Director, and Acting CEO of Al-Ahly Football Company.
The proposal was then presented to the Planning Committee and the General Supervisor of Football.”
Marcel Koller, the Swiss head coach of Al-Ahly, informed the club’s administration about Salah Mohsen’s departure, emphasizing the team’s lack of necessity for his technical services.
