Wilfried Singo on Napoli radar

Ivory Coast international Wilfried Singo could be on the verge of a return to Serie A, with Napoli closely monitoring the right-back’s situation ahead of the summer transfer window.

Per reports, the Serie A sides’ recruitment team have identified Singo as a potential target as they look to reinforce their defensive options.

The Italian giants are said to be impressed by the 2025–2026 performances of the Ivorian, who is currently plying his trade at Galatasaray.

Despite being under contract with the Turkish champions until 2030, Napoli are believed to be exploring the possibility of convincing both the player and his club to negotiate a deal. The move would require a significant effort, but Singo’s profile fits the club’s long-term vision for an athletic and attack-minded full-back.

Singo is no stranger to Italian football. He previously enjoyed a successful spell with Torino FC between 2018 and 2023, where he established himself as one of Serie A’s most promising defenders. His performances in Italy paved the way for a move to AS Monaco, before his eventual transfer to Galatasaray.

Since arriving in Turkey, the Ivorian has continued to showcase his attacking instincts from the back. In the current Süper Lig campaign, Singo has contributed two goals and one assist in 14 appearances—numbers that underline his ability to impact games at both ends of the pitch.

For Napoli, Singo represents both familiarity and potential. His prior Serie A experience means he could adapt quickly, while his continued development suggests he still has room to grow into a top-tier defender.

As the summer window approaches, Napoli’s interest could develop into a serious pursuit—setting the stage for a potential return to Italy for one of Africa’s most dynamic full-backs.
