Raja AC are gearing up for the second round of the Botola Pro 1

Raja Casablanca have welcomed a key boost ahead of the resumption of the national professional football championship, with international midfielder Mouad Dahak rejoining training following his national team duties.

Dahak had been representing the Morocco U23 national team and made a significant impact during a recent friendly against the Ivory Coast, scoring a remarkable equaliser in the 85th minute to secure a 2-2 draw.

The match, held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, saw Adam Aznou open the scoring in the 38th minute before Dahak’s late strike rescued the draw for the U23 side.

Raja’s training sessions resumed with Dahak fully integrated into the squad, providing head coach Fadlo with a welcome addition as the team prepares to continue their league campaign.

His return is expected to strengthen the squad’s midfield and attacking options, giving Raja an important edge ahead of the upcoming matches.

The team currently sits top of the Moroccan Botola Pro 1 standings with 30 points from the first 15 matches. Seen as favourites to clinch the league title at the end of the season, the team still has a lot of work to do and will never have all players to contribute in the second round of the campaign.
