Mohamed Salah's agent clears air on future after Liverpool exit confirmation

Mohamed Salah is set to walk away from Liverpool as a free agent at the end of the 2025–26 season, closing one of the club’s greatest modern chapters after nine unforgettable years.

The 33-year-old has agreed with the club to depart next summer, a year before his contract was originally due to expire, giving him full freedom over his next move.

Amid a flood of rumours about where he will play next, Salah’s representative Ramy Abbas Issa has made it clear that nothing has been decided yet. “We do not know where Mohamed will play next season,” he posted on X, adding: “This also means that no one else knows. Beware of the click-whoring attention seekers”.

Liverpool have already confirmed that an agreement is in place for Salah’s summer exit, with reports stating he will officially become a free agent once the season ends.

That status is expected to trigger intense interest from top clubs, including those in the Saudi Pro League, but for now Salah and his camp are keeping all options open while he focuses on finishing his Liverpool career on a high.
