The transfer of Zamalek’s Amr El-Sisi to Ceramica Cleopatra is still on hold as the player and the club struggle to reach an agreement on personal terms, according to sources at FilGoal.com.
Amr El-Sisi, a midfielder for the Whites, has not yet come to terms with Ceramica Cleopatra on the personal aspects of the deal, posing an obstacle to the completion of the transfer.
The player has several alternative offers that will be considered if no final agreement is reached with Ceramica Cleopatra.
Earlier, Ceramica Cleopatra had reached a preliminary agreement for the transfer of Amr El-Sisi as part of their January winter transfer reinforcements.
FilGoal.com previously reported that the delay in finalizing the deal is attributed to Zamalek’s desire to include additional players in the transfer, while Ceramica Cleopatra insists on a monetary transaction without compromising any of their players.
Amr El-Sisi has been playing for Zamalek since the previous season, having transferred from Tala’ea El Gaish. Ceramica Cleopatra reportedly offered 14 million Egyptian pounds to secure El-Sisi.
The player received an offer from Zed but seems closer to moving to Ceramica Cleopatra, awaiting an official agreement between the two clubs.
Amr El-Sisi has participated in 8 matches with Zamalek during the current season, although he has not scored or provided assists.
The 29-year-old midfielder has featured in a total of 36 matches for Zamalek, scoring two goals and providing a single assist.
He commenced his career with El-Nogoom before joining Tala’ea El Gaish in the summer of 2019 and later moving to Zamalek.
Meanwhile, Zamalek recently parted ways with Mohamed Abdel Ghani, who joined Banque Ahly during the ongoing winter transfer window.
