Chairman of Al-Ahly Club’s Board of Directors, Mohamed Kamel, has confirmed that the construction of the new Al-Ahly Stadium is progressing on schedule.

He emphasized that the project extends beyond the stadium itself, encompassing comprehensive infrastructure and facilities beneath and around the arena.

In a statement on the club’s official Facebook page, Kamel said the stadium is expected to be ready in approximately 146 weeks.

He highlighted that the project has now reached critical stages of concrete work and construction, with progress continuing smoothly and without interruptions.

Kamel also underscored the strong collaboration between Al-Qalaa Al-Hamra Company and Al-Ahly Sports Facilities Company, alongside the unwavering support from the club’s board and the continuous oversight of President Mahmoud Al-Khatib.

This teamwork, he said, is helping to accelerate progress and achieve the project’s objectives.

Addressing the club’s supporters, Kamel urged fans to continue backing the project and trust the team managing it.

He reiterated that the goal is to deliver a stadium worthy of Al-Ahly’s history and stature, promising that its opening will be a landmark moment when the stands are filled with fans witnessing a world-class facility that reflects the club’s prestige.
