Fouzi Lekjaa congratulates Infantino on 10 years as FIFA President

Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, has extended an official message of congratulations to Gianni Infantino to mark the tenth anniversary of his election as head of FIFA.

The federation published the message on its official platforms, highlighting Lekjaa’s recognition of Infantino’s decade in office. In his remarks, the Moroccan football chief commended the FIFA president for his role in advancing the global game and reinforcing its influence on the international stage.

According to the statement shared by the federation, Lekjaa praised Infantino’s sustained efforts in developing football worldwide and expanding its global footprint over the past ten years.

The congratulatory note came only hours after the federation addressed separate speculation surrounding the future of national team coach Walid Regragui. In an earlier release, the governing body dismissed reports suggesting a split.

“The Royal Moroccan Football Federation denies the circulating news regarding its separation from coach Mr. Walid Regragui,” the statement said.

With both announcements issued on the same day, the federation sought to reaffirm its institutional positions while also marking a milestone in FIFA’s leadership under Infantino.
