Morocco international Abde Ezzalzouli has been nominated for La Liga’s Player of the Month award for February, following influential performances for Real Betis that included a goal against Real Mallorca and an assist in victory over Atletico Madrid.
The 23-year-old winger faces competition from Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde, Girona’s Thomas Lemar, Getafe forward Les Milla, and Villarreal striker Georges Mikautadze for the monthly honour, La Liga announced on Wednesday.
Ezzalzouli’s nomination recognises his decisive contributions during February, scoring in Betis’s 2-1 victory over Real Mallorca and creating the winning goal in their 1-0 triumph against Atletico Madrid, demonstrating his growing influence in Spanish football’s top division.

Lemar earned his nomination following a standout performance in Girona’s surprise 2-1 victory over Barcelona in the Catalan derby during matchday 24.
The French midfielder scored Girona’s opening goal in the upset victory, which significantly impacted the title race.
That defeat left Barcelona in second place with 58 points, whilst Real Madrid capitalised by returning to the top of the table with 60 points, establishing a two-point advantage with the season entering its crucial final stages.
Ezzalzouli’s season progression
