Fenerbahçe S.K. are exploring a loan move for striker Nicolas Jackson as the Senegal international prepares to return to Chelsea F.C. following a spell with FC Bayern Munich that is set to end without a permanent transfer.
The 24-year-old forward is due back in London after Bayern decided not to activate the purchase option attached to his loan.
That decision has opened the door for fresh interest, with Fenerbahçe now assessing whether a temporary switch to Turkey could provide Jackson with the platform to rebuild momentum.
Former Senegal striker Mamadou Diallo believes such a move would suit the player at this stage of his career.
For Diallo, consistent minutes rather than status are the priority as Jackson looks to rediscover rhythm in front of goal.
” He’ll get more playing time and can get back on track before thinking about Chelsea ,” he said, arguing that regular involvement would help restore the striker’s confidence.
Diallo added that Turkey’s top flight offers a competitive environment in which attacking players can stand out and reassert themselves.
Jackson’s recent campaign in Germany has been modest by comparison with expectations.
He has scored three goals in 15 Bundesliga appearances this season, figures that underline the need for a reset after a challenging period.
While flashes of his athleticism and direct running have remained evident, sustained end product has proved harder to maintain.
At international level, Jackson continues to feature for Senegal, where he has earned 30 caps and scored seven goals.
