Prominent figures from Al-Ahly Club, including the club president and esteemed icons, gathered at the Police Mosque to bid farewell to Amr Farouk, who passed away on Friday due to a prolonged illness that led to a cerebral hemorrhage for the vice president of the Red Castle’s board.

The funeral of Amr Farouk was attended by the Al-Ahly Board of Directors and the iconic figures of the Red Castle.
Present at the solemn occasion were Mahmoud El-Khatib, Mustafa Abdou, Osama Hosni, Diaa El-Sayed, and Sherif Fouad, the official spokesperson for Al-Ahly.
Farouk’s father attends his son’s funeral
The father of Amr Farouk, along with Taher Abu Zeid and Ahmed Shobair, were also in attendance.
Notably, El-Khatib, the president of Al-Ahly, was the first to arrive at the funeral.
Al-Ahly declares three days of mourning
In the wake of the passing of Amr Farouk, the vice president of the Red Castle, Al-Ahly Club officially announced a three-day mourning period.
This decision marks the first official response from the club following the departure of Amr Farouk, a revered figure in the history of Al-Ahly.
