The Confederation of African Football (CAF), are expected to conduct the draw for the Champions League and Confederation Cup knockout stage draw on February 17, 2026.
With the final round of group stage games scheduled for this weekend, the continental football governing body has fix a date for quarterfinal draw.
The competition will move straight to the quarterfinal, with the first two teams from each groups securing automatic qualification from both Champions League and Confederation Cup.
“The draw for the knockout stages of the African Champions League and Confederation Cup is most likely to take place on February 17th.” A source close to CAF has revealed.
Al Ahly and Pyramids FC are among club’s to have secured qualification to the quarter-finals of the African Champions League prior to the final round of games.
In the Confederation Cup, Algerian powerhouse, USM Alger have booked their place in the quarterfinals, while other clubs battle for their fate heading into the final round of matches.
The quarterfinal draw is expected to outline the path to the semi-finals and final, heightening anticipation among clubs and supporters across the continent as Africa’s elite club competitions enter their decisive phase.
