Raja Casablanca have stepped up preparations for their demanding away fixture against Meknes Club in the 11th round of the Professional Championship, with training sessions this week reflecting notable technical adjustments and renewed squad depth.
As part of efforts to broaden attacking options, head coach Fadlo Davies has promoted young forwards Azzedine El Fath and Karim Saadi to first-team training.
The decision highlights the technical staff’s intention to integrate emerging talent while building greater flexibility in attack ahead of the upcoming run of fixtures, starting with the trip to Meknes.
The week’s sessions have also seen the arrival of new signings Ayoub El Amloud and Guinean striker Bella Moussa Conte, both of whom joined the group after completing moves during the final hours of the winter transfer window. Their inclusion is viewed as a significant step by the club’s management to reinforce the squad with players capable of making an immediate technical and tactical impact.
Raja Casablanca were particularly active during the winter window, completing seven signings in total.
Alongside Bella Moussa Conte and Ayoub El Amloud, the Green Eagles brought in Ayman Barkok, Amine Khammas, Beshar Halimi from Kosovo, Jordanian forward Mohammad Abu Zraik known as Sharara, and Nigerian striker Mathias Oyewuisi.
Meanwhile, the National Professional Football League’s Refereeing Directorate has announced the officiating team for the match.
Mohamed El Houaidri will take charge as the centre referee, assisted by Lahcen Azkaou and Rachid Louzati, with Souleiman El Atifi named as the fourth official. Video Assistant Referee duties have been assigned to Ayoub Sharhabil, who will be assisted by Zakaria Brinsi.
The encounter between Raja Casablanca and Meknes Club is scheduled for next Sunday at the Honorary Stadium in Meknes, with kick-off set for 6 pm GMT+1.
Raja will head into the match aiming to secure a second straight league victory after their convincing 3-0 win over Renaissance Zemamra, as they continue their push to regain momentum in the title race.
