Turkish Super Lig outfit Besiktas have completed the acquisition of Ivory Coast international, Emmanuel Agbadou, marking a significant step in his football career.
The 28-year-old defender joins Besiktas on a four-and-a-half-year deal from Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers. The transfer fee is reported to be around €20 million.
Agbadou joined the Premier League club at the start of 2025 from Stade Reims for €20 million, making 35 appearances for Wolves, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
The Ivory Coast international has built his career step by step, turning out for San Pedro and US Monastir before moving on to European football.
Since departing for greener pastures, the defender has had stints with Eupen, Stade Reims, before switching to the Premier League.
At the international level, the defender has pulled on the Ivory Coast national team shirt 18 times, finding the net twice.
During the current season, Agbadou has featured in 17 matches for Wolverhampton, a level of regular involvement that caught the attention of Besiktas.
