Manchester United are reportedly considering a move to sign French defender of Congolese descent, Pierre Kalulu.
According to Italian journalist Mirko Di Natale, Kalulu has become one of the key pillars of Juventus’ defensive line since his arrival from AC Milan.
The Frenchman established himself under Igor Tudor before maintaining his importance during Luciano Spalletti’s tenure, performances that have inevitably drawn attention from England.
Premier League interest in Kalulu is not new, but it has intensified in recent months, largely due to his versatility and ability to operate in multiple defensive roles. Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Newcastle United are all said to be keeping a close eye on the 25-year-old as they assess potential reinforcements.
Beyond the growing transfer speculation, Kalulu also has a personal milestone within reach, as he aims to become the first French player to win the Serie A title with both AC Milan and Juventus, having already lifted the Scudetto during his time at San Siro.
Juventus, however, are reluctant to part ways with one of their most reliable performers. Club executives Cristiano Giuntoli, Giovanni Ottolini and Damien Comolli are understood to have made it clear that the defender is not for sale, with any potential offer needing to exceed 40 million euros to even prompt discussions.
At the same time, the Bianconeri are working to secure Kalulu’s long-term future through a contract renewal.
