English-Sierra Leonean manager Liam Rosenior has been shortlisted for the Premier League Coach of the Month for January following a brilliant start to life at Chelsea.
The 41-year-old gaffer, who joined the Blues from Strasbourg in early January steered the club to three crucial victories in the Premier League.
The London-based club outstanding performance under Rosenior did not go unnoticed, earning him a place in the Coach of the Month contenders for January.
He will face competition from three other coaches, who also excelled with their clubs in the said month respectively. Rosenior will battle it out for the award with Michael Carrick, who also took charge of Manchester United in January.
Also in contention for the Coach of the Year award include, Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola and Nottingham manager Sean Dyche.
Chelsea are currently fifth on the Premier League standings, accumulating 40 points after 24 matches into the campaign.
Having made an impressive start to life, Rosenior will hope to guide the Blues to a perfect finish in the Premier League.
