France international of Cameroonian descent Sacha Boey is set for a sensational return to Turkish outfit, Galatasaray amid struggles at Bayern Munich.
The 25-year-old joined Bayern Munich from Galatasaray back in January 2024 for a transfer fee with €30m and has since not nailed down a place in the starting line-up at the Bundesliga giants.
Regardless, the defender has managed to feature 15 times (albeit just six of those appearances have come as starts) in all competitions this season, registering one assist in that time.
However, with the transfer window in Turkey still open, Boey is expected to make a return to Galatasaray, whom he is expected to join on a loan deal that includes a buy option.
As per reports, both parties have already reach an agreement for the transfer of the defender before the closure of the window in Turkey. The full-back is now expected to travel to Turkey in order to undergo a medical and complete the move.
The enterprising defender’s current contract with Bayer Munich runs until June 2028. However, Boey will return at the end of his proposed loan spell in Turkey.
Despite featuring for France at the youth level, Boey has yet to make an appearance for the senior team, making him available for a possible nationality switch to Cameroon.
