Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze has been shortlisted for the Fulham Goal of the Month award for January 2026 after producing a moment of brilliance in Fulham’s clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Super Eagles star caught the eye with a sensational strike that lit up the contest, showcasing his flair, confidence, and eye for goal. Chukwueze’s effort was one of the standout moments of the month and has now earned a place on a final shortlist of thirteen goals selected by the club for the prestigious monthly honour.
His nomination underlines the impact he has made in Fulham colours, with the Super Eagles star continuing to thrill supporters with his direct running, creativity, and ability to deliver decisive moments in key matches. The goal against Brighton & Hove Albion, in particular, drew widespread praise for its technique and composure, quickly becoming a fan favourite.
However, Chukwueze faces stiff competition for the award, as seven other Fulham players are also in the running. Among those nominated are experienced midfielder Tom Cairney, young talent Jade Bradley, Harrison Reed, Aaron Loupalo-Bi, Kevin, Farhaan, and Ali Wahid, each of whom found the net with memorable strikes during the month.
With the final decision set to be influenced by fan votes and club assessments, Chukwueze will be hoping his spectacular effort does enough to secure him the January accolade and further cement his growing influence at Craven Cottage.
