Spanish second-tier outfit SD Huesca have confirmed the acquisition of Ghanaian midfielder Michael Agbekpornu, bringing an end to his spell in Croatia.
The former Dreams FC marksman joined the Segunda Division club on transfer deadline day from Croatian Football League side Slaven Belupo, signing a two-year contract with the club.
Agbekpornu attracted significant interest from clubs in Europe on the back of his outstanding display for Slaven Belupo in the past three seasons. During his spell, the midfielder made 69 appearances, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
Before departing for Huesca, the former Dreams FC star racked up 18 appearances across competitions for Slaven Belupo.
Having switched to Spain, the 27-year-old midfielder will be hoping to play an integral for Huesca, who are determined to make impact.
Previously, the midfielder played for two seasons at KF Egnatia, in the Albanian Super League, a team he joined from Dreams FC from the Ghana Premier League.
Despite featuring for the Black Meteors, Agbekpornu has yet to earn a call up into the senior national team, the Black Stars.
