Chelsea winger Tyrique George has completed his medical at Everton as he closes in on a loan switch to Goodison Park, according to Sky Sports.
The 19-year-old is set to join the Toffees on an initial deal until June, giving him his first real taste of senior Premier League football away from Stamford Bridge.
The agreement between the clubs includes an option for Everton to make the transfer permanent at the end of the loan, though that clause is not mandatory.
Everton will cover George’s full salary during his stay on Merseyside, underlining their belief in his potential to contribute immediately in wide areas.
George remains under contract with Chelsea until June 2027, and the Blues also hold an option to extend that deal by a further year.
The move therefore suits all parties: Everton add a hungry young attacker to their squad, while Chelsea secure valuable top-flight experience for one of their academy products without closing the door on his long-term future at the club.
