Moroccan left-back Sofiane El Karouani has reportedly opted to join Saudi club Al-Qadisiyah, choosing the Middle Eastern side over a potential move to French giants Marseille.
Foot Mercato reports that El Karouani has signed a contract with Al-Qadisiyah, but he will remain with his current club, FC Utrecht, for the remainder of the 2025–2026 season.
The Moroccan international had been close to finalising a transfer to Marseille during the winter window, but negotiations did not materialise into a deal.
