Tottenham and Emmanuel Adebayor are facing a strained relationship, with the Togolese striker excluded from the first-team squad by coach André Villas-Boas. Adebayor was absent from the opening day of the championship against Crystal Palace and is not included in the squad for the Europa League match against Dinamo Tbilisi. Villas-Boas seems to have excluded Adebayor from his plans for the season, making new signings to compensate for his departure.
