Al Ahly forward Nits Gradishar is set to join Hungarian side Újpest on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Reports indicate that Al Ahly is finalizing the paperwork to complete the transfer, with the club informing the Slovenian striker of the move.
Discussions between Újpest and Al Ahly began several days ago, as the Egyptian giants aim to refresh their squad with a new foreign attacker.
Gradishar, who arrived at Al Ahly last winter from Hungarian side Fehervar, will depart after just one season with the Reds.
During his time in Cairo, the 23-year-old featured in 41 matches, scoring 11 goals, providing six assists, and helping Al Ahly secure both the Premier League and the domestic Super Cup.
