Al-Ahly officials are set to decide the future of young talent Omar Sayed Moawad amid interest from several clubs during the ongoing winter transfer window.
“The football management at Al-Ahly club will hold a meeting today, and will discuss the case of Omar Sayed Moawad,” a source said.
“The young player’s fate will be decided during this meeting, whether he stays with the first team or moves to another team before the end of the current transfer window.”
Moawad, 19, has been promoted to the first team on multiple occasions, most recently under Danish coach Jess Torop this season.
He has featured in both the League Cup and Egypt Cup, notably scoring against Ghazl El Mahalla.
